Emily Hayter is the Programme Manager of Evidence-Informed Policy Making at INASP, an international development charity working with a global network of partners in Africa, Latin America and Asia.
Emily works with VakaYiko partners on capacity building for the use of research evidence. She has seven years’ experience working in education and international development in east and southern Africa, with a focus on higher education.
Prior to joining INASP, she spent three years as Partnerships Manager for Canon Collins Trust, a British/South African NGO working to connect researchers and activists in southern Africa. She holds a Masters in African Studies (Politics & Development Studies) from SOAS and has lived in Tanzania and Rwanda.
